The theme of this congress is “Ethnopharmacology: Integrating Traditional Health Practices and Contemporary Medical Science”
The Congress mainly focuses on the dynamic process that seeks to combine the strengths of both systems to achieve better patient outcomes. Traditional health practices,
which can include indigenous knowledge, beliefs, and therapies, often focus on prevention and promotion, while modern medicine, which is based on Western medicinal practices,
is more focused on diagnosis and treatment concerning changing issues in the scientific study, validation of traditional medicines based on medicinal plants and Ethnopharmacology for the development of new phytopharmaceutical drugs.
